At New Hope Delaware, we care more about the direction you're headed than where you've been.

We all have a testimony… the question becomes “how do we share them”?

Yesterday, Brother Sapp brought a wonderful message for our church and the upcoming year (2016).

I had been studying Romans chapter one the previous day and reading some other notes / commentaries.  Romans 1:11, Paul is writing to the Romans sharing with them how he had long to see them, to impart some spiritual gifts, to the end ye may be established.  Looking at the word established, a Greek word meaning “strengthened”.  I asked my self, “How strong is my faith?”

Then as I continued reading, verse 16, I too am not ashamed of my faith… why, because it is the power of God unto salvation.  I was thinking about today’s society and today’s distractions in our lives and realized, I don’t need to do or be anything special, I just need to be available for the use of God.  I just need to realize we are all at a different place in our lives, and God can use us when we let go of the “things” of this world and surrender all to him.  Sometimes, we “think” we have to dress up God’s word, but the truth of the matter is we just need to tell people what God did for us.  Tell people how much He loves them, and He can and will do the same for them.  When people make mistakes and mess up, continue to love them, just the way God Loves me, and you…

For God So love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life….

The world is waiting to hear and see the gospel of Jesus Christ in our daily walk and life… time waits for nobody.

We all have a testimony…How and when will we share it?
